LINE COOK

Professional Line Cook needed. Requirements: must be cost conscious and hardworking. Must be able to temp burgers. COOK

As ambassadors of Positive Pie products and services, our Line Cooks are responsible for helping to create and maintain quality experiences for each guest that comes to Positive Pie. Job Description: We are currently seeking Cooks! This is a great opportunity for team-players, with exceptional knife and kitchen skills. Candidates must have great references and work well under pressure. Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for kitchen mise en place - Apportions meats and vegetables - Samples, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance to recipes, and standards of appearance and taste. - Maintains sanitation and nutrition practices Requirements Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years old. - Good working knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and knowledge of food and food production. - Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is preferred, but not required. - Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for long periods of up to four hours in length and have the ability to bend and squat. - Must have ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds. - Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, dining room staff and guests. - Must be able to use knives, hand tools, utensils and all standard commercial kitchen equipment.

PIZZA MAKERS

PREP COOK

Basic Purpose: Prepare pizza dough, lunch, and dinner food items per guest orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. Essential Functions: • Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs. • Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, grill. • Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages; return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies. • Comply with Positive Pie’s Work Rules and Standards of Conduct. • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.


BARTENDER
